Interesting. I started writing a fantasy series planning to weave in some Scandinavian mythology into it. I ended up dropping it to finish a book on fairy tales. I look forward to see where this goes.
Thanks! I think it might be a specific theme but every time I think I know what the story's about it changes. Sometimes I have an idea that I absolutely want in one fairy tales but ends up working better in another and sometimes I have other ideas that I decide not to work on because their not part of the fairy tale(s) and I don't want to get distracted, but then that ends up in the fairy tales too. So I have no idea, we'll see.
Which part of Scandinavia are you from by the way? Or are you simply interested in the mythology? (I'm half Swedish)
Awesome. I grew up in France and don't really know anything about Swedish mythology (or French for that matter). Right now I also live in the middle of the forest in Sweden.
I’m invested.

Thank you for reading! Also, cool! A book about fairy tales in general or a specific theme?

I'm all Swedish :) so I write about the lore I grew up with. I loved the old folk tales and mythology and live in the middle of the forrest.

french is the best! at least if you want to write horror if you haven't read La légende de la Mort en Basse-Bretagne, there is an English translation
Thanks, I'll check it out. And I can speak French by the way, it's my Swedish that is lacking.
